Stephen Gentry

Stephen, at 29 years old, has shown incredible resilience during his incarceration at 18 years of age. Through the challenges he has encountered, he has cultivated inspiring dreams and aspirations for his future. A proud member of Brothers in Blue, Stephen dedicates his efforts to lifting others within his facility, working hard to help them transform their lives for the betterment of themselves and society as a whole. His commitment to positive change is truly commendable. These are Stephen's own words:

"I am Stephen Albert Gentry and this is my declaration. This is what I feel, this is what I see, this is what I understand, this is what I believe. I love Jesus, I'm infatuated with Christ and the development of world peace. I'm very passionate. Not aggressive in conduct but extremely aggressive in strategy. I'm passive if you barely understand me, I'm patient and caring if you truly understand me. That means I want to help others. Anyone that needs help. It also means that I understand today a lot of the ones in need of help are either wrong or unaware. So I have to tell people that they are wrong or they don't know. It's ok to feel defensive when that happens, I was. I ran into solitude. Escaped with drugs. Loneliness is my hard learned lesson. Jesus saved me and taught me. Clear vision and a lesson learned makes me a wiser an than I once was. Addiction beat me senseless but depression robbed me of pieces of my precious life. Some people will argue with my belief on how to heal addicted minds but if there is anyone that disagrees with me when I say that peer support is a strong and very reliable weapon against depression, I have not met them yet. I can relate, I can help, and this is why. I am Stephen Albert Gentry."

Build the world around you through the people around you. Make your world a world of happiness and pleasure by honestly disclosing your joys and pleasures to the people around you. We should surrender ourselves with like-minded people; people we love. Tend to others around you with kindness and charity. Your reward is karma. Build a world and spirit of GOLD with only two practices; speak specifically and speak true. Truly let the ones you surround yourself with be aware of the specific things that make you experience happiness and pleasure. We are kind and charitable.
