Brothers in Blue Weekend at Ellsworth Correctional Facility

On October 3, 2025 – October 4, 2025, at Ellsworth Correctional Facility, the Spiritual Life Center is hosting their bi-annual Brothers In Blue Weekend event. There are 90 residents attending this event, 44 residents serving, and 17 BIB volunteers participating. This weekend event is truly lifechanging for so many residents, and we are grateful to our volunteers, our Chaplaincy staff, our Administration, and our security staff that support this opportunity.

The SLC Brothers In Blue Weekend event is an opportunity for interested residents to be introduced to Christ through a retreat-style weekend. Participants are treated to testimonies, group activities, and musical performances provided by a team of BIB volunteers with assistance from the SLC Praise Team. Participants are fed throughout the weekend with meals prepared and served entirely by the SLC resident staff. Chaplaincy and resident clerks organize and coordinate the event.
