"Facilitating Support and Connection Among Kansans Affected by Incarceration"

At Inside-Out Alliance of Kansas, we recognize the limitless potential of each person we serve. It will always be our commitment to approach each and every individual with respect, empathy, and compassion.
Inmate Outreach: Inspiring Hope for a Better Future
Almost ten thousand Kansas citizens are currently incarcerated in the Kansas Department of Corrections. Ten thousand fathers and mothers, sisters and brothers, sons and daughters, husbands and wives. Many of these inmates have been left without a support system of any kind, and have no contact with the outside world. It is our hope to alleviate these feelings of isolation and hopelessness by fostering connections. It is our belief that these initiatives will not only benefit our citizens behind bars, but contribute to a culture that is rehabilitation focused and a society that embraces compassion.
At Inside Out Alliance of Kansas, we are dedicated to transforming lives through connection, compassion, and creativity. Our mission is to bridge the gap between incarcerated individuals and their communities. We empower inmates and their loved ones to share their stories and talents, creating pathways for personal growth and human connections.

“There can be no greater gift than that of giving one’s time and energy to helping others without expecting anything in return."
-Nelson Mandela
Thank you for starting this blessing of services for us inmates, it has been long overdue. Thank you for caring about the ones of us that are lost.

I’d like to thank you for what you’re doing. UR good people. That means so much to me that u care about my life despite being that I’m incarcerated. That u treat me as a human being isn’t something I’m used to these days.
